The LS2 Assault Helmet is designed to outperform the competition. Its shell is constructed from LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a lightweight yet strong composite material, and is available in three shell sizes paired with a multi-density EPS liner. The interior comfort liner is made of a high-tech fabric that wicks moisture, dries quickly, and is fully removable and washable. The comfort pads are pre-curved using LS2's 3D laser technology, ensuring all-day comfort and no hot spots.
The helmet features large, adjustable vents on the chin bar and at the top, working in conjunction with the rear spoiler and side venturi vents to provide adjustable, dynamic flow-through ventilation. The wide eye port houses an optically correct, Pinlock-ready faceshield (lens insert sold separately).
In addition to meeting the DOT approval and FMVSS 218 Standard, the LS2 Assault Helmet also meets the requirements imposed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), ensuring its compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
